UV resin is a crystal clear resin that sets and becomes solid under ultra-violet light.  The finished product can be carved and polished.  Objects can be imbedded in the material to mimic stone or to invent your own "stone".  It can be used to preserve a photo in a locket or make a gemstone appear to float in air in a silver setting.  As a tool, this resin can be used to repair chipped and broken stones.  It an add a leveling base to an otherwise unsuitable pebble or seashell ad make it perfect for setting in a bezel.
Each student will get a bottle of the resin to take home.
This workshop will explore all of these possibilities and then some.  the process is easy and fast and fun.  The material requires no messy mixing and measuring.  It will not yellow or crack like other resin products can.  Students will be guided to make several different things and have time to experiment.
